Two: Meet the Terex AC 1000. Why I want to get two of it and turn one into a tank with two turrets or one mega railgun is mine to keep, but I want a tank based on that. I can start by working on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! of it.
Three: I just want a BMW M7. The kind that can take on the Ferrari FF and/or Bentley Continental Supersports or Mercedes E63 AMG. About time the BMW M8’s soul come back. It’s got

Four: Has anyone tried racing this of bike (not necessarily this exact bike, but their kind) in a concrete velodrome? I understand TT bikes are set up differently than a track bike, but I’m just curious (perks are brakes and better speed control, I think).
Five: Looking back, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! of an actually cool car. THe only redeeming thing is the driver, but other than that... eurgh. Must be with the front wing.

chiming in on track bike v. tt bike.
TT has most of the advantages. The aero position given by the TT has been used before in track racing (see Graeme Obree and his hour record bike he built) however, because the UCI is a bunch of miserable people they’ve basically locked the track bikes as just that. Single speed fixed gear for people with monster quads. The pro to the track bike is modulation of speed purely by cadence of pedaling. Though, geared TT would out accelerate from a standstill. Someone could probably argue about the purity of track racing where it’s nearly man v. man with little of the machine playing a role in it.

So... looks like I can set a speed record with it. Any really long concrete velodrome you know that can let road bikes in? Or any long oval track, for that matter?

Oh. spoke too soon. In VA, we have the richmond international raceway criterium. Which is basically what you’re talking about. You’d be up against stiff competition for a speed record.

Nah, I can do it alone, like those ‘Ring record aspirants do. But it’d be better to do it in a race. Also, a different fastest bike record using this.
Pretty certain the geometry can be changed to give room for pedaling.

Isn’t the BMW M6 already the kind of car to take on the FF or Conti?

Yeah, but man I want an M7. For other reasons.

Ha. Again, look into Graeme Obree.

He’s doing very similar work at this time making a horizontal bike for a land speed record. Records get very particular about body positioning, type of bike, course, etc. Also, gravity bikes are pretty wild to dive into.

Isn’t that kind of like saying you want a Panamera GT3 RS or a Mercedes S63 Black Edition? I understand wanting a faster 7 series (e.g. a B7) but I don’t understand wanting a hardcore track 7 series!

Nonononono, I don’t want a hardcore track 7 series. That’s not what I meant. I just want a really fast and MOAR wider 7-series. The M8, really.
And it’s not like a Panamera GT3 or E-class AMG Black is far-fetched either, as silly as it may sound. Bentley had one.
But still, I just want a modern-day M8.
